,02 Better

Much better now that I have been healed and have gotten proper rest. I am not sure exactly where I am, but I suppose Tonks will tell me everything I need to know. I had thought my wand was broken back in the forest with Fenrir, but when I woke up, it was in my cloak pocket. Strange.

Thank you, Zaheela, was it? For healing me. You saved my life, and I am indebted to you.

I am relieved to find Tonks safe and sound; with the war going on, I was worried sick over what could have happened to her. I worry for my friends, but for now I must focus on healing and returning to my former strength.

There is a man here, one called Severus Snape, who has made this place his home it seems. You are all entirely free to make your own decisions and judgments, but I feel that I must implore you all to take extreme caution when dealing with him. He killed the greatest wizard of my time, a man who was a father to me, and a great teacher. He was also kind to Snape, prevented him from being thrown in prison, gave him a position as a teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and even entrusted him with very important information. Snape betrayed him, just as he betrayed us all, and killed this man.

I do not believe he has changed; he has already disproven us once, and although I am not one to make quick judgments, I would not recommend trusting him or his motives. Again, this is entirely up to all of you, but I wish you all to know my concerns and receive proper warning just in case.

((ooc; Remus is simply worried that Snape will hurt somebody, since, in the time Remus is from, Snape killed Dumbledore and went back to Voldemort to be a Death Eater. He really took Dumbledore's death pretty hard, and although he really is a sweet, gentle guy, Snape just took everything too far, so now Remus doesn't trust him at all. He just wants to keep people safe.))

It was merely good timing and coincidence. No thanks is needed, and most assuredly, I will not call upon such a debt.

Strange, you require a wand to cast? I have heard of a caster who must use runes and crests tattooed on their bodies, but never something of a wand...
Feb. 14th, 2007 05:29 am (UTC)
Yes, it is quite necessary in my world. The wand chooses its user, and so it is ironic that it should find itself back in my possession. But I feel safer knowing that I have it back.

If you insist; if you are ever in need of assistance of anything regarding defense against the dark arts, be rest assured that I know quite a great deal in that subject and would come to your aid immediately.

Same Filter;
Snape already apologized for that.

Re: Same Filter;
I do not wish to sound cold hearted, but an apology does not make up for what he's done. I'm afraid that only those from my own world can understand the enormity of what he has done.

You are perfectly in your own rights to trust and befriend who you will, my dear sir. I am merely just trying to warn people while I can.
Feb. 12th, 2007 08:59 pm (UTC)
I am not quick to trust, but I have found Tonks to be a charming young woman. If you are a friend of hers, you gain quick marks in my esteem.

As to this Snape, I have seen his posts here before. He's done nothing publicly ominous, but I know better than most that people can hide entirely different personas behind their public masks.

It seems that Tonks has made many friends in this place. It does not surprise me; she is a very kindhearted young woman. We are friends, yes, and a little more than that, if you catch my meaning.

Hmm. He claims he is from a different time, and that may be true, but you can never be too careful....your words ring true, sir...?
Feb. 14th, 2007 05:53 am (UTC)
You needn't worry about me. I catch your meaning and no longer dally with humans regardless.

Walter Dornez. No need to call me sir. There are people from other times here, as I've learned from personal experience.

Your name, if I may?
Feb. 14th, 2007 06:06 am (UTC)
So he may indeed be telling the truth...this is unsettling.

Remus Lupin, ex-professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts, and...werewolf...

It is...a pleasure to meet you, Walter.
Feb. 14th, 2007 06:20 am (UTC)
A werewolf...

Your pardon. I have had less than salutory experiences with a werewolf in the past.

But as to the other - there is a vampire here who goes by the name Alucard. He is here once from 1999, and here a second time from the year 1944. This City does strange things with time and people.
Feb. 14th, 2007 07:06 pm (UTC)
I can understand completely.

Thank you for this information, Walter. This changes a great deal of things, now.
Feb. 12th, 2007 09:07 pm (UTC)
Oh, I'm snug as a bug, yeah. An' as for this madhouse, jus' ask away an' I'll do my best to clear this place up.

As for Snape, I've been trying to keep an eye on him. He hasn't done anything odd yet, but I'll stay away from him if you want me to.
Feb. 14th, 2007 05:22 am (UTC)
I would greatly appreciate it, love.

And, you know me....I would never ask you to stay away from anyone, because you make your own choices, but just be careful...all right? I worry about you.
Feb. 15th, 2007 01:34 am (UTC)
I will, I am. It's not like he's anyone I wanna spend time with, now or ever. Anyway, I've got much better company.

If Sir Severus cannot be granted that forgiveness and faith... then others should not be forgiven.

I don't think Sir Severus is evil by nature... sir.

We had already granted him that forgiveness and trust, and he betrayed us all. He has not only ended a life, but put many, many innocent children in danger, for this man was their protector.

There are those who are evil by nature, but I agree with you; I don't believe he was born "evil". Obviously things have happened to him in his past - what they are, I cannot say - that affected his choices, but regardless, he is the one who made them, those choices, that is, and nothing can change that.

Re: same filter//
Perhaps it was for a greater cause! Killing the man may have done your side a favor! Not every safe idea is good in the long run!

[ooc; This boy totally murdered the leader of the only city who could have stood against the big bad from another country :D]

I see you do not understand...but that is all right. You did not know Albus, so...you cannot comprehend what his death means to those who loved him and the hope of all that is good in my world.

Ah - pardon me for reminiscing. I didn't mean to disturb you so. You are free to make your own decisions; my warning is there for those who may be hurt, just to be safe. I hope this does not cloud any judgments you may have on me but it wouldn't be the first time someone has hated me.

Re: same filter//
I know what I'm talking about. I don't know Sir Severus' history, but I know that sometimes, dirty things must be done for the greater good.

I don't think I hate you sir, but I do not... appreciate... such... hasty judgments.
Feb. 14th, 2007 07:09 pm (UTC)
Re: same filter//
Depends on what is defined as the "greater good". I certainly don't think the murder of non-magical folk and wizards and witches who are born from non-magical parents counts as being "the greater good".

I have known Severus for a great number of years, but if that is your opinion, I am not entitled to attempt to change it....

My apologies, if I have offended you, sir.

Re: same filter//
Sometimes, the easiest way is to strike when you are closest.

No... no... no offense. I'm... I'm Jowy, by the way. It was impolite of me not to introduce myself first. I live with Sir Severus.

Is it some sort of Muggle thing?
I wish people would just stop fighting.

Good to hear you're up and about, anyway...

((Snape has no idea there's all sorts of disparging things being said about him under the ward. Poor guy.))
Feb. 14th, 2007 05:18 am (UTC)
No...it isn't, although the Muggles are being affected now, unfortunately. We did all we could, but certain events took place that complicated things.

Hm. I'm sure you are.
